Biktarvy is a complete HIV-1 treatment in a once-a-day single tablet containing three antiviral medicines bictegravir, emtricitabine, and tenofovir.  

Viropil tablet consists of the active substance called Dolutegravir, Lamivudine, Tenofovir disoproxil fumarate. Dolutegravir is an antiviral medicine belonging to the integrase inhibitor family. Lamivudine, Tenofovir disoproxil fumarate, which belongs to the antiretroviral medicine class. This medicine treats HIV (human immunodeficiency virus) infection in adults and children with 40kg or greater. It is a nucleotide reverse transcriptase inhibitor (NRTI) and works by inhibiting the enzymes (HIV reverse transcriptase), which is important for virus replication. While consuming this medicine, you may still develop infections related to HIV. Although effective antiretroviral therapy reduces the risk, HIV transmission is still possible when using this medication. Contact your doctor for more information. 

Do not take Viropil tablet if you are allergic to Dolutegravir, Lamivudine, Tenofovir Disoproxil Fumarate, or its other medical ingredients. Patients diagnosed with pancreatitis or at risk of pancreatitis should take this combination of medicine cautiously. During this treatment, your doctor may periodically monitor your blood counts, bone mineral density, liver and kidney parameters to prevent serious complications. Notify your doctor if you have or had a history of lactic acidosis (excess lactic acid), pancreatitis (inflammation in the pancreas), bone disease (osteonecrosis - the death of bone tissue), fractures, liver (chronic hepatitis B), or kidney problems. 

Inform your doctor if you are planning to get pregnant or think you may be pregnant. Breastfeeding is not recommended while taking Viropil tablet due to the potential transmission of HIV infection to the baby from mother.

• Viropil tablet lowers HIV by inhibiting its replication. It increases the number of CD4 (T) cells, enabling the immune system to fight other infections. This lowers the risk of severity and death associated with a weak immune system.

• Inform your healthcare provider about all the medicines you take, including prescription medications, over-the-counter medications, nutritional and vitamin supplements, and herbal products. Certain medications interact with Efavirenz, Lamivudine, Tenofovir Disoproxil Fumarate and reduce their effectiveness by causing undesirable side effects. 

• Store at 30°C.
• Protect the medicine from light and excessive moisture.
• Keep the drug out of reach of children and pets.

• It is taken orally. Your doctor will decide the dose and duration of Viropil based on the disease condition and other factors. Always take this medicine as prescribed by your doctor. Take the tablet at the same time. Do not take an additional dose to compensate for the missed dose. Do not chew, dissolve, crush, or break the tablet.

Taficita 200mg/25mg Tablet belongs to a group of medicines called antiretrovirals. It is used to treat HIV (human immunodeficiency virus), the virus that can cause AIDS (acquired immunodeficiency syndrome). It helps to control HIV infection so your immune system can work better.

Taficita 200mg/25mg Tablet is not a cure for HIV/AIDS and only helps to decrease the amount of HIV in your body. This helps to lower your risk of getting HIV-related complications and improves your lifespan. It may also be used to prevent HIV infection in some people at high risk. It may be prescribed alone or in combination with other HIV medicines. Your doctor will recommend the best medicines for you and will decide the doses that you need. Follow carefully the instructions for all the medicines that you are given. This medicine is best taken with food. Taking these medicines regularly at the right time greatly increases their effectiveness and reduces the chances of HIV becoming resistant to them. It is important not to miss doses and to keep taking them until your doctor tells you it is safe to stop.

Common side effects of this medicine include nausea, diarrhea, headache, trouble sleeping, rash, and dizziness. These are usually not serious but inform your doctor if they bother you or do not go away. It can also increase the risk of bone loss (osteoporosis) if you take it for a long time. Exercise regularly and take calcium and vitamin D supplements as suggested by your doctor. Some people put on weight while taking medicines to treat HIV/AIDS.

Before taking it, let your doctor know if you have any liver or kidney disease or bone problems. While using it, you may need regular blood tests to check your blood counts, liver function, and kidney function. Do not have unprotected sex or share personal items like razors or toothbrushes if you are HIV positive. • The combination of lamivudine and zidovudine is used to treat human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) in patients with or without acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS). Lamivudine and zidovudine are in a class of antiviral medications called synthetic nucleoside analogues. They work by slowing the spread of HIV infection in the body. Lamivudine and zidovudine is not a cure and may not decrease the number of HIV-related illnesses. Lamivudine and zidovudine does not prevent the spread of HIV to other people.
